Hi guys,

For those of you involved in yesterday’s twitter conversation I thought I’d give you an update about the design thief issue.

I’ve had a tremendous amount of support from the Chinese illustration community. Evidence and proof of my copyright was posted on a website and the person in question has since removed his blog and the work which he claimed was his own.

Hopefully this has resolved the issue. I’ve found it so amazing that artists around the world can stick together and help out when things like this happen. It really would be a shame if we can’t share our work. As a freelancer I find it so inspiring to see the amazing designs illustrators create.

hey guys, thought i'd let you know about this cool project by steve rack (the man behind ilikecharacters.com). it's open to all artists and the idea is to customize your own 'toe fluff' character from the template provided. the exhibition will run from the 26th july to the 11th august at the post modern art gallery in swindon, uk and all profits will be donated to the great ormond street hospital charity. here is my contribution :)

hi guys, the postman brought me a lovely parcel full of samples of the 'cally's bears' range. i'm really pleased with them! i've been working on several more bear designs this week as this range is to be expanded. their names are tinker, teddy tim, bertram bear, martha marmalade, bumble and kiki (i think naming them is half the fun!) xx
